Foreign Minister and Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that we want to take the country forward by maintaining good relations with all countries, that is the policy that our Prime Minister is following very successfully. Seeing the good relations of the country with everyone, BNP is getting angry, that’s why they have started talking in reverse.
The Foreign Minister said these things while addressing the Chief Guest at Chattogram Press Club’s Bangabandhu Hall on Saturday (July 6) at 8 p.m.
Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Chittagong Division organized this Preeti Sammilan.
The foreign minister said, after coming from India, BNP started saying that we have sold the country to India. Now after coming from China, do they say that I have sold the country to China as well? Everywhere we go they say they are selling the country. My question to BNP, how many times can the country be sold?
Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, “Our foreign policy is friendship with all, not enmity with anyone, and we have been doing that very successfully.” Our Prime Minister visited India after a few days break and now he is visiting China. Just as we have very good relations with India, we also have very good relations with China. Just as we have very good relations with Russia, we also have very good and good relations with the United States.
He said, while we are maintaining good relations with our immediate neighbor India, who contributed to our great freedom struggle, who were not with us during the freedom struggle, they are also helping us, maintaining good relations with us, contributing to our development, this is the success of our foreign policy. . Many people including BNP pretend not to understand this.
He also said that Sheikh Hasina and her government walk with their heads held high, Sheikh Hasina should not bow down to anyone, this should be remembered. It doesn’t matter what Mr. Rizvi said in a moody mood, what Gayeshwar Babu said in a moody mood, even if Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, being educated, spoke like an uneducated person, it doesn’t matter. We want to take the country forward by protecting the dignity of our state, maintaining good relations with everyone, our Prime Minister is doing that.
