BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that Awami League has destroyed the economy of Bangladesh by looting the money of the country’s people and smuggling it abroad, emptying the bank-share market and looting in the name of mega projects. Today there are no dollars in reserve.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the protest rally demanding the release of Begum Khaleda Zia in front of Nasimon Bhavan, the party office of Kazi in Deuri on Saturday (July 6) afternoon.
He said, we have come to the streets for the release of Begum Khaleda Zia. As long as Begum Khaleda Zia is not released, there will be no democracy, right to vote, security of people’s lives. I have heard a lot, seen a lot. I can’t stand it anymore. Begum Zia should be released. All those involved in taking him to jail must suffer the punishment for their crimes.
Amir Khosru also said, there is any justice in Bangladesh? no Where there is no justice there is no use protesting? Then you have to resist. We are all ready, leaders and workers have not given up. Homes are broken, businesses lost, jobs lost, lives lost, case after case. Died in police custody, died without treatment in jail. No one gave up, only got stronger.
