As a result, it is now confirmed that Tarique Rahman will be returning home with his family, along with his beloved pet cat, Jebu.

In a recent interview with BBC Bangla, Tarique Rahman spoke about his fondness for pets and animals. He mentioned that the cat originally belongs to his daughter but has since become dear to the entire family. In the interview, he also confirmed the cat’s name as “Jebu.”
He further shared his views on compassion toward animals from both humanitarian and religious perspectives. Tarique Rahman said that Allah has created humans as the best of creation, and therefore it is humanity’s responsibility to show respect and care for all living beings. He also noted that disruption of nature’s balance could put human life at risk.
