The Bangladesh Police has transferred a total of 53 Additional Superintendents of Police (ASP) in a new administrative reshuffle.

The transfer orders were issued on Sunday (March 8) through two separate notifications signed by Inspector General of Police Md. Ali Hossain Fakir.

According to one of the notifications, 40 officers holding ranks from Assistant Superintendent of Police to Additional Superintendent of Police have been reassigned to new positions in the interest of public service. The order states that the officers will remain in their newly assigned posts until further instructions are issued.

In a separate notification, 13 Additional Superintendents of Police have been transferred to different police circles across various districts.

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative measures aimed at strengthening law enforcement operations and improving service delivery within the police force.
