Prime Minister Tarique Rahman chaired a cabinet meeting on Thursday at the Cabinet Division conference room of the Secretariat.
At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the country’s overall law and order and economic situation. He issued strict directives to maintain transparency at all levels of administration to accelerate development projects and ensure uninterrupted public services.
Focus on Market Stability Before Ramadan
With the holy month of Ramadan approaching, the cabinet held detailed discussions on keeping essential commodity prices stable and ensuring smooth supply chains across the country. The Prime Minister underscored the importance of proactive monitoring to prevent price manipulation and safeguard consumer interests during the peak demand period.
Cabinet members and secretaries of the relevant ministries were present at the meeting.
The session reflected the government’s focus on sustaining economic stability, strengthening governance, and maintaining administrative accountability in the lead-up to Ramadan.
