Bangladesh government is cautious about Myanmar border

Home Minister Asaduzaman Khan Kamal said that the government and law enforcement forces are on alert at the Myanmar border and there is no chance of weapons entering the country.

He said these things in response to the questions of the journalists at the end of the exchange meeting regarding law and order in the district at the conference hall of the Chittagong Police Superintendent’s office on Friday (February 16) afternoon.

The Home Minister said that due to the internal conflict in Myanmar, various unintended incidents are happening in the border areas, but the government is taking necessary initiatives to deal with them. Government and law enforcement forces are on high alert along the Myanmar border and there is no scope for arms to enter the country.

The minister said, The government and the police are taking legal action according to what court is giving regarding Dr. Yunus.

He also said that there is nothing to worry about as there are reports of arms entering Bangladesh from the Myanmar border through various armed groups.

The Home Minister said, you know that a fair, beautiful and orderly national election was given to the entire country a few days ago under the supervision of the Election Commission. Various countries of the world have congratulated our Prime Minister on the occasion of this election. Let us hope that the next election will be completed in an orderly manner using the experience of this election.

At that time, CMP Police Commissioner Krishna Pad Roy, DIG Nur Alam Meena, Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzaman, Superintendent of Police SM Shafiullah were present.
