A fire has occurred in a railway compartment in Chattogram. This incident happened on Thursday (March 7) night.
Chattogram Fire Service Assistant Director MD Abdul Malek confirmed the matter.
He said that they received information about a fire in a freight train compartment of Chattogram port. However, the official could not confirm the incident.
According to sources, the fire broke out in a railway compartment at Strand Road Bangla Bazar area of Chattogram.
Earlier, a fire broke out at the Max Construction site adjacent to Jamiatul Falah Mosque in Wasa area of the city on Thursday (March 7) around 8 pm. Chattogram Fire Service Assistant Director said two units of fire service extinguished the fire after receiving the information.
