Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh has announced a long march towards the Indian Assistant High Commission Office in Chittagong at 11 am on Monday (December 2).

On November 29, Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh’s Joint Secretary General Mufti Harun Izhar made this announcement.

He said, “Our rally will be peaceful. You will not try to create any chaos in that rally. We will not throw any stones. We will inform the law enforcement agencies, various intelligence agencies, student coordinators and the government that we will march peacefully towards the Indian Embassy. From a peaceful distance, our representatives will go to the embassy and submit a memorandum on behalf of the Towhidi people.

He said, “Various Hindutva organizations have claimed that ISKCON has no connection with the murder. They want to sit with the leaders of various Islamist parties and organizations, including Hefazat-e-Islam.” We want to make it clear that this is a new conspiracy. After expelling Sheikh Hasina from the soil of Bengal, the maximum Hindutva organization of this country is creating an anarchic situation in Bangladesh to implement India’s agenda.’

Harun Izhar said, ‘In the meantime, when they came under the punishment of the law enforcement agencies due to their various terrorist activities, they formed a new party and started asking for compromise with their government and scholars.’

At that time, Mufti Harun Izhar said, ‘I want to tell all Hindu organizations including ISKCON and Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council from today’s rally that we are not willing to sit in talks with any Hindu organization in the future until three conditions are met. You all know that I sat with ISKCON leaders in a hotel in Chittagong in 2020. After the fall of the previous Hasina government, the Islamists of our country made all arrangements for the protection and security of Hindus, starting from guarding their temples. “Even in a show of extreme generosity, some of our brothers went to their puja mandap, which we do not support. Despite showing so much generosity, they responded by slaughtering our brother.”
