The government has issued a notification to reduce the price of all types of fuel oil in the country market in line with the international market in a new automatic system.
The new prices of diesel, kerosene, petrol and octane will be effective from Thursday (March 7) night.
For the first time, the price of fuel oil has been reduced in the country’s market due to the announcement of automatic price fixing.
According to the new prices, the government has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene from Tk 109 to Tk 108.25 per liter, octane Tk 126 from Tk 130 and petrol Tk 122 from Tk 125. In this case, per liter of diesel and kerosene has decreased by 75 paise, octane by 4 tk and petrol by 3 tk.
Earlier, from August 30, 2022, the government had reduced the price of all types of fuel oil by Tk 5 per liter in the country’s market.
